Красивые квартиры №88 4 Contents All the natures of design . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 20 The comprehensive theme of the nature, with its smoothness, fluidity and bright «juicy» colour shades, is developed in this project, forming a complicated image, full of details. A certain powerful dynamics is born in this living space, due to team play of the walls and ceilings. The abundance of sparkling elements — glass and pearl inserts together with crystals and mosaics — makes this interior sparkle and shimmer. Modern shapes for classical interior . . . . . 30 According to the owner’s wish, the style named «the modern classics» was chosen for this interior design. At the heart of this popular style there’s a compromise between tradition and today’s top trends. On the one hand, it allows to avoid the imitation of «the times passed long ago», but, on the other hand, — it demands no unconditional following to hitech or minimalism principles. As a result, you get an original author’s interior. The open space’s plasticity . . . . . . . . . . . . 38 This definitely small apartment features modern and welcoming interior, with a bouquet of sophisticated shapes and lines highlighted by decor’s pastel tones. Having merged almost all the living spaces, the designer succeeded to make a sensation an open free space. This project’s very important aim was to show how you could create a sensation of an open space in a very small area. Home clubbing . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .44 Contrast colour combinations in d cor together with nonstandard eye-catching plastic ideas create an atmosphere which can be comfortable both for everyday family life and crowded parties. Such a multi-purposed mission influenced the lay-out: welcoming zone designed in night club style occupies the bigger apartment’s part. Modern graphics is blended with bewitching spicy Oriental notes. Exterior in the interior . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 50 A married couple with two children considered their interior to be quiet, focused on classical trends but, at the same time, modern; not very tortuous, but intriguing. In order to bring to life all the owner’s wishes, the designer added to the interior some Mediterranean exterior elements such as horizontally rusted columns, arches, landscape panels. Playing with neobaroque. . . . . . . . . . . . . . 56 The elegant and modern 105 sq. m three-room apartment looks like falling out of a time context. Its universal design combining simple geometry of a modernist interior and neobaroque decor elements, remains fashionable for all times. Various decor textures and matte and glossy surfaces’ alternation visually enrich the interior. The Moscow home . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 64 Singer Tatyana Bulanova, originally born in St. Petersburg, haunts Russia’s capital due to her activity. Some years ago she purchased her own small apartment here, but anyway she considers her spouse’s apartment her Moscow home. Her husband — the well-known soccer player Vladislav Radimov — owns the apartment nearby the Garden ring with a spectacular view to the river Yauza. So Tatyana welcomed «Beautiful apartments» in this very living space. Art gallery . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 72 Artist Aydan Salakhova, the Surikov art institute’s graduate, owns both a gallery of the modern art and a two-level apartment. In her apartment she succeeded to blend her favourite native Oriental elements and her own art works at the refined minimalist background. And, as for interior and style, we also should mention that Aydan’s apartment reminds on her gallery very much. The organical theory . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .80 Andrey Tsygankov, the Moscow architecture institute’s graduate, the «NOGRAPH» architectural bureau’s founder, has a vast experience in private space designing. However, recently the architect has paid his interest to public interiors’ creation, becoming one of the most successful and bright authors of the Moscow restaurant design. «Beautiful apartments» had a talk to Andrey on what a harmonious and beautiful interior actually is. The sunny wind . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 90 The living room became this elite spacious penthouse’s focal point. To get the more of natural light, the authors decided to get rid of partitions wherever it is possible, and to replace all of them with light glass designs. Space and colour . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 92 The eclecticism and energy of the big mosaic panels, heated stone floors — all these methods allow creating the modern interior full of architectural allusions, but at the same time rather elegant. Space and colour becomes a design leitmotif. Romantic today . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 94 The author aims to create a comfortable, elegant and original interior. Owners have chosen bright, intense, but not very eye-catching colours, delighting the eye in summer and «warming» the interior in winter evenings. Bright notes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .96 The designer aimed to create a living space for a family of four — a married couple, a grandmother and a child. After discussing the cooking-and-dining and bar zone design, the black and white combination was finally chosen. Other intense shades are introduced by colours of fruit, fresh greens, kitchen ware, etc. Now that very black-and-white background highlights all these elements’ beauty. Vintage and classics . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .98 The newly-married couple wished their interior to be both sophisticated and functional. The apartment features a single colour palette. The lay-out fits all the comfort norms. The designer’s aim to get a comfort «for all times» was completely succeeded. The classics is always out of time. Colour minimalism. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 100 The 85,4 sq. m apartment is located in one of modern Moscow districts. The customers are a young couple. The lay-out’s focal point is a spacious studio — a living-room merged with a kitchen. A combination of decoration colours features beige-and-brown tones with bright orange accents. The final look turned out to be contrasting and interesting. White interior . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 102 Fusion style proved to be in the heart of this design concept — it’s a definite combination of today’s interior design with classical accents. The lay-out follows traditional open spaces’ plan — a living-room is merged with a kitchen-anddining room. Graphic art forms this interior’s basis. The design and decor looks light and graceful. Illusion of infinity . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 104 In this modern interior it may seem like items and space is loosing its forms, shapes, borders... You may witness also an illusion of infinite freedom and weightlessness. Such effect is set up by merging spacious loggias with panoramic glazing and use of sliding glass partitions. Functional idea . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .106 Working on this project the designer faced the following problem: the owners would like to blend their available furniture with a new interior look. Non-standard ideas were brought to life, for example, a dining table was set in between a living-room and a kitchen, almost in a passway zone. Noble comfort . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 108 The spacious apartment’s designing demanded a very pragmatic approach both in room zoning on the lower and upper floors, and also in development of the outdoor terrace’s superfluous area. The interior features classical style — it’s both quiet and counterbalanced. With maximum convenience . . . . . . . . . . 110 The apartment in the nearest Moscow suburbs initially had two bearing walls; these walls caused definite troubles in designing a maximum convenient space. This apartment’s confirmed lay-out includes a cozy and light master’s bedroom with a small wardrobe, a spacious nursery, a kitchen with a guest zone, a convenient bathroom, a hall and a corridor with built-in closets. Beauty oasis . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 112 Circles on the ceilings in this apartment’s four rooms are not just a universal design feature unifying the apartment spaces, but also a perfect symbol of this interior’s dynamism. The apartment is intended for a family of two adults, a child and a grandmother. Graceful originality. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 114 The 115 sq.m apartment was created for a married couple with two children. According to the customers’ wish the designer should remake a 3 room apartment into a 4 room one, with separate nurseries. The main stylistic problem was a creation of a magnificent and bright interior. Pre-premier show . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 118 The «Cersaie» fair’s popularity grows year by year. Bologna hosts the show at the end of September — the beginning of October. «Cersaie–2010» expects more than 90 000 visitors. The hottest novelties in sanitary ware, furniture and bathroom accessories, tile, faucets and other equipment. Fall’s warming fires . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 124 In the «Interior» department we tell you how to select home textiles in the coming fall’s colour palette.
