Having active way of life she likes to welcome guests very often. The authors of the project got an unordinary task from her: she wants them to recreate a club atmosphere in her apartment, trying to keep a home warmth at the same time. As a result the interior appeared to be unexpected and bright, combining different elements but laconic and natural. Union of classics and art deco . . . . . . . . 26 For several years the owners of the presented project have lived in the apartment where there was no any special decoration style, it was just qualitatively renovated. However as soon as the family had grown, the apartment’s interior was changed in a big way. The author advised to choose the modern classics as the main interior style: it’s quiet, cozy, with slightly seen art deco features. The pebble-styled walls and the window-cases built in a floor, with corals and shells, remind of the rest at the sea coast. European classics, inherited . . . . . . . . . . 44 The given apartment’s style is offered by the designers as a variant for a new apartment with initially free lay-out. The eclectic approach explains a possibility to see both classical and modern design elements. As draperies of curtains have something in common with coverlets and cushions, and stretch ceiling is conformable to the glass texture, original illusion of a «second light» is born. The sensation of unity is reached also due to natural materials’ use. At the heart of the modern image one may find spicy Orient and smooth French accents. Simple and distinctive world . . . . . . . . . . 68 Soft high tech — this is the way one may characterize that apartment’s decoration style. At the heart of the design there are squared shapes. They are recreated both in the apartment’s architecture and in decor details: ceilings’ configuration, furniture silhouettes, decorative plaster’s design. The colour range, unified almost for all the apartment’s rooms, introduces sensation of a home coziness and hearth in its atmosphere.
