The building is constructed rather recently and its architecture style is modern enough. In 2007 a spa zone was launched here, it has got its own name — «Artha relax and joy». Artha is the Sanskrit term, which is usually associated with a concept of material well-being, achieving widespread fame, garnering wealth and having an elevated social standing. The 11 х 7 meter wooden bath-house is also constructed there. Despite use of wood (a traditional material for the Russian bath-house), its interiors are designed in a modern style. It is not only a Russian steam room with standard premises — a shower room, a boiler room, a rest room, but it is also a guest house and a spa pool. The elegant luxury is clearly seen not only in its grand living rooms and halls, but also in steam rooms. The design is intentionally authentic there and it is created with the use of ancient technologies. The traditional English style, which has become the main one while constructing the bath-house complex, is mostly expressed in its facades’ design, and also in the living room and kitchen-and-dining room interiors. Transparent air in highlands. . . . . . . 124 Simple and pure lines together with laconicism of forms dominate in this refined sauna design. Transparent clearness here is felt like the mountain air. There is no any superfluous decorative details here. The thermo-processed ash-tree wood is used in its decoration. Not tinted, but perfectly polished wood demonstrates texture details; its natural beauty almost shines and smartly designed lighting allows to highlight a material grandeur. From the remote past. . . . . . . . . . . . 128 The ancient tradition — to take a steam-bath — has deep historical and cultural roots. This tradition bears a set of senses and values — healthimproving and cultural, aesthetic and spiritual, communicative and intellectual. Traditions of taking a steam-bath have successfully reached from an antiquity up to nowadays, and today they keep developing and improving. Perhaps, the main reason of their long life is the fact that this tradition equally refers to two components of a human nature — corporal and spiritual. Heat and steam in one team . . . . . . 136 Medical and regenerative influence of steam-bath procedures is well-known. But to feel it completely, the human body should be in the environment with special temperature and humidity parameters. To achieve the above-mentioned conditions a stone stove serves for a heat source and heated stones acting as a steam generator. One may find a difference between a Russian bath and a Finnish sauna only at a steam formation stage.
