A rather interesting approach was shown using the parquet flooring not only in its traditional way but also on the ceiling; wood borders marble inserts, tiles and plasterboard. Shades of pastel are elegantly set off with gold with monochrome wall and ceiling paintings adding sophistication to the finishing. Advantages of circular motion. . . . . . . . 46 Since one of the main requests to the design was space’s maximal openness, it was decided to get rid of the partitions between the adjacent rooms. Circular motion in the apartment was set by suspended ceilings and furniture arrangement. That made the rigid shapes of space softer and incorporated the black furniture the owners had picked before the project start into the interior. Shapes and colors interaction became the main idea of decoration.
